The sign for the hotel. Two things that struck me: one, the Reikartz chain has their own coat of arms; I don’t know if Marriott or Hilton have that. Two, the use of the word ‘hotel’ (готель, or sometimes just отель); this seems to be a recent adoption of an English word. In the Russian language books and study materials I have, the Russian word for hotel is ‘гостиница’. I guess people would rather say a two-syllable word than a four-syllable one.
